The Name

IRROI: a celebratory word from Majuli.

The word IRROI comes from the Mishing community of Majuli — the world's largest river island, in the Brahmaputra. It is the celebratory word with which the community ushers in the New Year: sharing food, rohi (rice wine), and the greeting of a new harvest and a new year — IRROI.

That spirit of welcome — rooted, generous, grounded in the earth — is at the heart of everything we build. After humble beginnings with just one Airbnb, Irroi Group has become a brand with three properties in Guwahati and Kaziranga, run by Genealogy Allied Services Pvt Ltd.

Of the Forest

The Baari — the ancient forest garden — is the soul of every Irroi property. We restored it, we tend it, and it teaches us. The design, the menu, and the rhythm of each day follows what the forest offers.

For the Land

Net Zero operations. Plastic-free campus. Rainwater harvesting. Composting. Local artisan partnerships. The land gives us everything — our obligation is to give it back more than we take.

Our Story

From one Airbnb
to a collection.

Start

Irroi begins with a single Airbnb listing in Guwahati — driven by a belief that design, nature, and community belong together in hospitality.

2024

The team acquires land at Geleky Chariali, beside the Kohora Range of Kaziranga National Park. A restored Baari — an ancient forest garden — becomes the foundation of a new kind of lodge.

2025

Irroi Safari Lodge Kaziranga opens on 25th October 2025. 22 rooms. 268 documented species. A permaculture garden supplying the kitchen. 85% of the team from surrounding villages.

2026

Irroi Group operates three properties across Guwahati and Kaziranga under Genealogy Allied Services Pvt Ltd — rooted in the same philosophy, growing with the same patience as the Baari.
